Hi-tech has come to birding. Texas eBird is a real-time, online checklist program that collects bird sightings from birders around the world. Even more importantly, eBird shares those sightings with the rest of us!

The goal of eBird is to take advantage of the vast numbers of bird observations made each year by birders. In the Coastal Bend, we want to take advantage of you! Please take the time to enter your sightings. Sign up (it’s free), and start keeping a personal record of your sightings. By sharing with all of us you will also contribute to the community of birders that travels here.
