Before you hit the coast, we want you to feel like a “local” so in this section you will find everything from the species of fish you will be chasing to the bag and size limits set up by the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department. Be sure you have a valid State Fishing license available to purchase at many convenience stores near the water, bait shops and outdoor outfitters like Academy and the local Wal-Mart. The Corpus Christi area is home to great saltwater and freshwater fishing so be sure you have the right gear for the weather and water conditions!
