Snapka’s Drive Inn - Leopard St.
Back in 1948, brothers Method and Rudy Snapka blazed toward Corpus Christi intent on opening a burger joint. When their car broke down in nearby Robstown, they decided to park their first Drive Inn there. This, their second location on Leopard Street opened in 1953 and still offers car-hop and drive-thru service to this day. In addition to old-school burger-fries-shake combos, Snapka's was the first place to offer crispy tacos to the area. Catch Bike Night and Nostalgia Night, when the locals show off their cycles and hot rods and talk about the good old days. And don’t miss the Texas Historical Marker earned in 2017.
