Sandi's Diner Red, Hot & Blue
Hooray for the red, hot and blue! And hooray for
Sandi Clark Zimmerman, table-waiting baker and
30-year veteran of the Corpus Christi restaurant
scene, who opened this classic throw-back to 50s
diners in 2013. Her version – loaded with rock &
roll and hot rod memorabilia and warm with the
aroma of fresh baked goods and the day's lunch
special – feels so authentic, that many folks
assume the cafe is much older. From shakes and
malts to omelets and her almost-famous waffles –
plus, some of the juiciest burgers around, Sandi's
is open six days a week at 7am (closed Sundays)
to fill your need for home-cooked goodness.
