Garibaldi Mexican Restaurant and Bar
Three generations of the same family have run this popular full-service home-cooked Mexican eatery. But don’t ask for Mr. or Ms. Garibaldi. It’s the Sevillas who run the joint and have been the source for the heart- and belly-warming recipes for over two decades. The recipes run the gamut from both sides of the border: Mexican and US breakfast favorites, a long list of combos and plates like Mingo’s Plate (cheese enchilada with carne guisada), plus American staples like club sandwiches, CFS, and the Garibaldi Delight (rib eye & shrimp). A giant Selena adorns one wall, watching over patrons who pack the place for lunch or to croon some Tejano hits on karaoke nights. Check the board for generous specials.
