South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center has added a new ‘stroke’ to its FLORA, FAUNA & FUN--art!
‘Nature’s Brush Strokes,’ 30 pieces of 30 x 60" vertical full-color art depicting South Texas wildflowers and native plants by area artists, is open through September 30, on the Mary Hope Brennecke Nature Trail.
It's a juried collection, with more than 90 eligible entries submitted. And it's included in your general admission!
This exhibit was funded by Hotel Occupancy Tax Funds by the City of Corpus Christi through the Arts & Cultural Commission, and sponsor Joyce Barnette.
This beautiful exhibit makes the nature trail, along Gator Lake, even more of a wonder!
Located In Southside
Corpus Christi's Southside is the area's business district with multiple shopping and restaurant options. Plant and nature enthusiasts will appreciate the South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center where the noise of city life disappears and serenity abounds. Enjoy the stunning floral exhibits and gardens and take a walk down one of the trails where it is not uncommon for birds and butterflies to come greet you.
