The Corpus Christi area has been blessed with many natural resources and experiences for all to enjoy. The responsibility to protect these resources lies with those who also enjoy them. As you visit the coast please be sure to take special care to leave the shores cleaner then you found them. There are many sensitive areas within the coastal environment which serve as essential habitat for birds, fish, and mammals alike. Be aware of the Redfish Bay State Scientific Area and other sensitive areas by paying close attention to posted signs. We want our visitors and locals to have plenty to return to in the years ahead!
