Goose Island State Park & Big Tree-Fulton

Goose Island State Park, located in Aransas County, consists of more than 300 acres of Live Oak trees and grasslands. Due to the large amount of trees, the park is a thriving destination for migratory birds. Guided birding tours are held in spring while guided nature tours are held year round.

The Big Tree, located within Goose Island State Park, is one of the largest Live Oak in the nation! The tree is thought to be over 1000 years old.

Fishing and camping are permitted throughout the park. No worries if you forget your fishing equipment at home; the park participates in the “Loan A Tackle Program”.
