Your skill level and your confidence on the water will dictate which spot is right for you. If you are looking for flat water head out to Laguna Shores in Flour Bluff for a nice ride. If you are chasing waves Mustang Island and Upper Padre Island are great launch sites. Advanced kiteboarders like the bay at McGee Beach downtown Corpus Christi. The best place to learn is in Portland at Wildcat where water is not deep and smooth.
