Gunkholing

Explore the open waters through gunkholing! When gunkholing, sailors make a series of short trips from place to place moving at a slow pace, anchoring at each place. While gunkholing is much like island hopping, moving from place to place, this sailor isn’t heading anywhere in particular…just a few out-of-the-way places and a spot to anchor.

Beneath the open waters is where you will find the “gunk,” so find a hole in the gunk deep enough to anchor and enjoy the view!
