What to Bring

While on the water, sailors need to be prepared for a variety of conditions. What you bring and what you wear will depend on the weather, water temperature, the size of the boat and the amount of time you will spend on the boat. The waters are unpredictable, but the following items will be helpful.

• Life Jacket (one for each person on board)
• Jackets/Raingear
• Bathing Suit
• Boating Shoes or shoes with a rubber grip sole
• Sailing Gloves
• Sunglasses/Hat
• Sunscreen
• Ice Chest
• Water
• Food/Snacks
• First Aid Kit
