Shoreline Boulevard is the main address for where the action is on the Corpus Christi Bayfront. Starting with the bright white monuments that make up the Art Museum of South Texas and neighboring American Bank Center entertainment complex to the north, extending out onto the bay via the Corpus Christi Marina at the T-Head piers, Shoreline Boulevard is home to towering hotels with beautiful views as well as some of the area's finest dining and entertainment. Shoreline Drive is also the home of Corpus Christi's Seawall. First constructed in 1939, this magnificent buffer fortifies the downtown area from the natural power of the bay. The stair-step configuration, dotted with eight concrete Miradores Del Mar gazebos (including the Mirador de la Flor Selena memorial), offers an inviting place to stroll or pause and gaze out over the water.
