Corpus Christi is home to Whataburger Field, the home field of the Corpus Christi Hooks baseball team. In addition, Whataburger Field offers a youth baseball field, facilities for group events and parties, a playground for children, basketball courts, a 27' high rock wall, a pool, and a trampoline.

Texas A&M Corpus Christi features a baseball field, softball field, a pool and racquetball courts. Texas A&M University Kingsville features a football field that seats 15,000, a basketball court that holds 9,000 spectators, a pool, soccer field, and tennis courts.

Corpus Christi is also home to several bowling alleys, soccer fields, billiard halls, martial arts dojos, community swimming pools, and golf courses open to the public.
