Longboard

Longboards are typically easier to surf because they are longer and easier to control. Longboards, as the name suggests, are often 8 feet or more, thicker and wider, with a more rounded nose in comparison to a shortboard. Longboards provide more stability in the water, easier paddling, and of course, are great for catching waves. This makes the longboard ideal for beginner surfers. Longboarders have the ability to walk up and down the board while attempting to hang ten.
