Fiesta de la Flor presented by Citgo brings the Tejano Low Rider Extravaganza! Check out some AWESOME lowrider cars in the American Bank Center Arena in Selena’s hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas! This is everything you can expect from a custom car show. The slick paint, shiny rims, bright lights and magnificent upholstery interiors are all on show at Fiesta de la Flor presented by Citgo on April 12 and 13, 2019!
First things first, “Anything for Selenas!”
THE CAR from the Selena movie will be at Fiesta de la Flor! And of course, the famous bumper will be there too. Festival attendees can check out the car on both days of FDLF.
Lifted cars, classic cars, convertibles, and all kinds of world class cars will be on display at the Tejano Low Rider Extravaganza. Some of the other amazing cars at the Tejano Low Rider Extravaganza are “El Meró Meró,” a 1963 Chevy Super Sport Convertible Impala that has traditional paint and custom undercarriage suspension.
Feast your eyes on “Feather,” a 1964 Hardtop Super Sport Chevy with full original interior and a pretty custom pearl paint job. The 1948 Chevy Fleetline “Ground Zero” is perfectly named because it sits flat on the ground.
“Double Trouble” is Lowrider Magazine’s 2019 Car of the Year. The gorgeous multi-color metal flake patterned paint job was painted in Corpus Christi! Another Lowrider Magazine of the Year, “RM Series” is a 1978 Cutlass Supreme decked out with custom paint, interior and murals on the body of the car.
Watch as airbrush artists take part in live airbrushing demonstrations during the Tejano Lowrider Extravaganza! Then check out the music, shopping in El Mercado, One Person Unites us with Suzette Quintanilla and Adrienne Bailon Houghton to celebrate the life and legacy of Selena.
