Every Wednesday and Saturday 

Looking for a family activity to fill up your Wednesdays and Saturdays? The Art Center of Corpus Christi opens up its doors every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m and Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. There are different classes that offer arts and crafts projects to complete as a family. Orchidology at the South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center

 The South Texas Botanical Gardens & Nature Center presents the on-going Orchid monthly class series and information exchange, for novice to experienced growers, with Orchid Curator Sam Jones, in the Education Station classroom. Monthly topics range from different orchid genera to specific orchid culture techniques. FREE for all orchid lovers! 8545 S. Staples St.


FREE First Friday at Art Museum of South Texas

First Friday Artwalk

On the first Friday of every month you’ll find artists, musicians and all things creative converge in the Marina Arts District. It's where Downtown comes alive with bands on every block, food trucks serving up South Texas fare, and art galleries featuring local and national artists. Take in the free live music and local flavors outside, find a nice watering hole to duck into for a quick drink, or grab a bite to eat. N. Mesquite Street


Nature Story Time at Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center

February 4, 3:30 p.m.

Join Oso Bay Wetlands Preseve and Learning Center staff members as they read nature themed children's book, explore artifacts, and meet the animal ambassadors. Learn more about native wildlife, habitats, adaptions and other topics through relevant children's stories. This program is FREE or charge and intended for children ages 2-6. Each story will be supplemented with a walk, artifact, animal ambassador or other interactive. All children attending the program must be accompanied be an adult. 1446 N. Oso Pkwy.


Guided Nature Walk at Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center

Every Saturday through February

Get outside and explore nature on Saturday mornings. Come out and experience the natural environment of the Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center. See many different species of plants, trees and animals. The guided nature walk is free and great for some family fun! 1446 N. Oso Pkwy.


Sunday Bridgewalk

Explore and overlook the Corpus Christi Bay at the Sunday Bridgewalk! Both pedestrian walkways on the Harbor Bridge are opened specifically for First Sunday Bridge Walkers! There's also Yoga, Zumba, and Tai Chi afterwards in Heritage Park! Something wonderful for everyone. Walk begins and ends at Heritage Park. 1581 N. Chaparral
