704 Ayers St.

Sandi's Diner Red, Hot & Blue is a definite local favorite! Located right outside of downtown, Sandi's Diner gives something special to your tastebuds! Classic, 1950s style decor and delicious burgers. What more could you want in a local diner?

The only downside was the food was too good to stop eating. Man am I full! - Randy C.

Everything I've eaten at Sandi's is awesome! The poblano soup,  their specialty starter, is  spicy, but not heavy. The pizza burger harkens to Angelo's Pizza, which was local favorite back in the day. Sandi's pizza burger is better and made with homemade buns and fresh-tasting marinara. The fried green beans are light, crispy, and addictive. The funnel cake fries make for a satisfying sweet treat that a group can share. Everyone at Sandi's is friendly and professional, and I have  enjoyed talking with Sandi about the pictures and memorabilia on the walls. Sandi's Diner is a great locally owned and operated lunch venue. - Donna B.

Ridiculous amazing. If you're a gravy fan, definitely need to be here. - Amanda W.

My grandmother was an old fashioned country lady and everything in her kitchen was home cooked from scratch.  As a kid we often had things at her dinner table such as Green Beans, Chicken Fried Steak, Fried Okra, Fried Catfish.....you get the point....true south Texas comfort food.  Southern charm is the best place in Nueces county that will make you feel like your visiting grandma for lunch. - Richard W.

We were referred here by our hotel, the V! Breakfast was excellent and the warm tea hit the spot. Best grits I've had in a long time. This is a place I'd revisit and recommend to my friends. Thank you - Kenny B.

Price's Chef is a local institution and has been here for a very long time.  It's a "greasy spoon" by every possible measure and, if you didn't know the date, you'd think you were stepping into the 1970's.  It's a real trip.  The walls are lined with celebrity photos signed by folks who came and ate there at one point or another.  The building is old and dated but it's clean and well-kept and the service is always friendly.  Many of the staff have worked here for a long time and the faces are familiar. - Brian D.
