Places to Eat after a Day at the Beach
After a day lounging, fishing or catching waves at one of Corpus Christi’s many inviting beaches, one thing is certain. When the sun goes down, beach-goers are searching for some of the city’s tastiest grub, refreshing drinks and coastal vibes in close proximity to the sand and surf. Beach cover ups and flip-flops are always welcome!
There’s plenty of Island dining options and a satisfying menu for the whole family at the Boathouse on North Padre Island. This two-story beach casual establishment offers an array of American food – from a kids’ menu to seafood entrees – on two dining levels, waterfront patio dining, four full bars and 15 TVs. Downstairs, you’ll find a more relaxed, family dining experience, which includes karaoke on the lower patio as well as breathtaking sunset views of the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Padre. Upstairs, take a seat in the friendly sports bar lounge with friends and play pool, golden tee golf, foosball and hear your favorite songs on the jukebox. Enjoy local acoustic bands (Friday-Saturday); and karaoke (Thursday and Sunday). Drop in for Sunday brunch. Check Facebook for daily specials.
