What's New to Conquer the Coast 2017
Conquer the Coast will return to the Coastal Bend for its 14th year on Saturday, September 16! This South Texas premiers cycling event is still ON despite the damage caused by Hurricane Harvey.
What is Conquer the Coast?
Conquer the Coast is one of the fastest growing cycling events in North America! Each year the event attracts thousands of participants and spectators from across the nation and Mexico! Set your sights to conquer the 10-mile, 21-mile or the 66-mile ride. The ride begins and ends at North Bayfront Park in Downtown Corpus Christi.
When is Conquer the Coast?
September 16, 7:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
What has changed about the course?
Although the 10 and 21-mile routes remain the same, the 66-mile option will change. The changes will still allow riders to experience the Coastal Bend while allowing relief efforts to continue. Instead of the 66-mile route that goes around Corpus Christi Bay, riders choosing that route will now have the option of doing multiple loops of the 21-mile ride that takes cyclists down scenic Shoreline and Ocean Drive from downtown to the Naval Air Station Corpus Christi and back!
Planning on coming but haven't made your lodging arrangements?
Due to the overwhelming support of disaster relief volunteers, the Corpus Christi hotels are near or at max capacity. PLEASE make your arrangements as soon as possible. Click here to check out the official list of host hotels for Conquer the Coast.
