A Christmas Carol 

Come see a timeless classic that follows Ebenezer Scrooge on Christmas Eve while he encounters the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, leading him to ultimately discover the true spirit of Christmas. This Broadway version of A Christmas Carol will be staged at the Harbor Playhouse and is directed by Laurel Brashears with musical influence from award-winning composer, Alan Menken. This family-friendly show will run between November 24 – December 23.  

 

The Nutcracker

Christmas isn’t Christmas without the famous ballet, The Nutcracker! Many families make it an annual tradition to see this classic story of a young girl's journey to a magical land on Christmas Eve with a Mouse King, toy soldiers, and a handsome prince. The high-quality production performed by award-winning dancers and ballerinas will sweep you off your feet! Watch this live show at the American Bank Center Selena Auditorium on December 9, 10, 16, or 17.

 

Home for the Holidays

The Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Performing Arts Center is hosting the longtime holiday crowd-pleaser "Home for the Holidays," where the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra will be joined by local choirs to offer a delightful mix of carols, seasonal favorites, and the popular sing-a-long with Santa Claus himself. Enjoy the show in the world-class concert hall featuring state-of-the-art acoustics, and a striking glass-walled lobby that offers a beautiful 360-degree view of the Corpus Christi Bay and the downtown skyline. See the show at the TAMUCC Performing Arts Center on December 9.

 

Cirque Dreams Holidaze 

This family holiday spectacular combines the world’s finest contemporary circus artists with dynamic choreography and whimsical storytelling. Audiences will have visions of sugarplums dancing in their heads as a fantastical cast of holiday storybook characters comes to life, and music plays with new twists on seasonal favorites such as “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “Carol of the Bells.” Come see this family-friendly production at the American Bank Center Selena Auditorium on December 3.

 

Winter Wondrettes

The Wonderettes are back and ready to fill your holiday season with an energetic and glittering performance that features the girls entertaining at the annual Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party, and when Santa turns up missing, they use their talent and creative ingenuity to save the holiday party. Dance and sing along to great ’60s versions of holiday classics such as “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Run, Rudolph, Run,” and “Winter Wonderland,” for a marvelous holiday production guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages. Catch this spectacular performance at the Aurora Arts Theatre from November 17 – December 31.

Abuelita’s Christmas Carol

Ring in the holiday season with a Tex-Mex holiday classic that follows the spicy Rosita, aka “Abuelita,” inspired by writer and performer, Alex Garza’s real-life grandmother, Rosa. The show includes the same wacky and dear cast of characters, including Lucas, Pedro, Feliza, and the pig ghost named Agapito, along with more music than before. Don’t miss the heartwarming Abuelita’s Christmas Carol, showing December 16, 2023 at the Aurora Arts Theatre
