Land Kiting

Land kiting is similar to kite surfing, the main difference is that you don’t need to have water nearby to participate in this outdoor experience. Most people can get the hang of it within a few hours, and the kite control and board skills are great crossover training for kiteboarding on the water. The land board is different from kiteboarding on the water because it has less drag, so you can use a much smaller kite and still get plenty of speed. Depending on whether you choose a skateboard or a dirtboard will determine the best location for land kiting. With miles and miles of beaches Corpus Christi is the perfect place for land kiting with a dirtboard.
