Beginning at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 4, the free H-E-B night-time starbursts will be set off from a barge located in the Corpus Christi Bay just north of People’s Street T-Head. The public is encouraged to come downtown and enjoy the show! Shoreline Blvd. will be closed to traffic to ensure pedestrian safety.

Viewing sites and parties will also be held for The Mayor’s Big Band Firework Show throughout the city.

The Aquarium will be open for regular hours of 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. during the day on the Fourth of July, and then reopen at 7 p.m. for fireworks and our VIP event until 10 p.m. Enjoy front-row seating to the Mayor’s Big Bang Celebration presented by H-E-B. Table seating will be overlooking Corpus Christi Bay on the Boardwalk Gardens of the Aquarium.

Red, White, & Blue Bash: Fireworks Viewing Party

Join the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History for a 4th of July fireworks viewing party. Get a perfect view of the downtown fireworks show while enjoying food, drinks, games, and special access to the museum after hours!

Red, White & Boom Aboard the USS Lexington Museum

Watch the 4th of July fireworks over Corpus Christi Bay from the best view in town, on the flight deck of the USS Lexington! While aboard, be sure to check out our newly restored F-14 Tomcat, which was used in the filming of the movie Top Gun!

Live music on the flight deck by the Selfless Lovers from Austin, Texas! Hamburgers, hot dogs, snow cones, beer, wine, and other food and drinks will be available for purchase. No outside coolers, food, or beverages will be allowed. Please feel free to bring camp chairs or blankets for general admission seating.
