Corpus Christi Watergarden
Designed by internationally recognized cityscape architect Robert Zion, the Watergarden is one of the city's most delightful meditative spots. A circle of 150 fountains burble, sending water tumbling down a stone staircase to the pool below. A small ring of lawn in the center is where kids go to spin in delight while listening to the frothy waters. Couples have been known to get engaged and married here – a no-brainer, considering the stunning view from under the Harbor Bridge. Located between The Selena Auditorium at the American Bank Center, the Art Museum of South Texas and the Science & History Museum, the Watergarden in a quiet respite from Corpus Christi's bustling downtown.
