St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church was built in 1950 and is an Eastern orthodox Parish in Corpus Christi. The first steps in organizing a Greek Orthodox Church in Corpus Christi, Texas under the jurisdiction of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of North and South America were taken on May 11, 1936 when a meeting of all interested persons was called and a temporary committee was elected and authorized to study the possibility of organizing a Greek Orthodox Church in Corpus Christi, Texas
