Baffin Bay, the southernmost bay on the Texas Coastal Bend, is located 70 miles south of Corpus Christi. The area is the spot of some fishing record breakers and tournament winners. Although, with great rewards comes some struggles -- be sure to check the wind conditions, as it can get pretty windy. Also, beware of the infamous Baffin Bay Rocks known to cause frustrations and some broken rods.
If you're not afraid of a challenge and are looking for a quiet and peaceful fishing spot, Baffin Bay is the place to go while you’re on the Coastal Bend.
Some popular fishing piers are: Black Bluff, Kenedy Shoreline, Riviera Beach Rocks and 9 Mile Hole (North and South)
