Some days you just need a break from the sand, salt and sun that inevitably comes with a day spent on the beach. Luckily, the Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department’s Aquatics Program manages two year-round pools and multiple summer season pools! They also offer swimming lessons for students of all ages and abilities. Read on to learn more about some of the pools you and your family can visit during your next Corpus Christi trip!

Corpus Christi’s year-round pools are the Corpus Christi Natatorium and Collier Pool. The other pools, listed below, are open from May 28 to August 10 for the 2018 summer season. The seasonal pool hours are Wednesday to Sunday from 1 - 6 p.m., while the hours for the Natatorium and Coolier Pool vary. Admission is free for children age 2 and younger, $1 for youth, $1.25 for seniors and $3 for adults. There are certified lifeguards present at all times.

  1. H-E-B Pool
    H-E-B Pool is located in H-E-B Park in Downtown Corpus Christi. This location is good for younger and inexperienced swimmers. Amenities include a zero-depth entry pool, various water features, cabanas and a party concession area. H-E-B Pool also includes a splash pad the kids will love!
  2. Oso Pool
    Oso Pool is located in Oso Park in Central Corpus Christi. Summer group swim lesson programs are available all season at this location! If you’re feeling brave, take a bounce off of the diving board.
  3. Greenwood Pool
    Greenwood Pool is located in Greenwood Park in Northwest Corpus Christi. This pool features a triple water slide—a swirl, deep drop and three loop!
  4. Collier Pool
    Located in Southside, the heated, year-round Collier Pool allows both designated general swim and lap swim times. General swim times run from 1 - 6 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday. The lap swim hours are as follows: 5 a.m. - 1 p.m. Monday, 5 a.m. - 1 p.m. & 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday - Friday and 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Collier features six lanes for lap swimming, a beach-inspired entry, water features, picnic tables and a big bucket dunk!
  5. Corpus Christi Natatorium
    The indoor, Olympic-style Corpus Christi Natatorium is located in Southside. This year-round facility is designed to host swim meets and features lanes for lap swimming, making it an ideal location for conditioning. There are five diving boards for diving practice. If you’re in the area for an extended period of time and are looking for more instruction, summer group and private swim lesson programs are also available at this location. General swim hours are 12 - 4 p.m. Tuesday - Sunday. Lap swim hours are 5 a.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday - Friday and 12 - 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
