Corpus Christi has fast become home to popular local breweries across the city. Take a day or two to hit all these spots and sample beers designed for living along the Gulf Coast. Don’t have an entire day? All you need is a couple of hours to chill at one of these establishments.

Nueces Brewing Company

Nueces Brewing Company is Corpus Christi's newest Downtown brewery! The restored downtown building is given new life thanks to the local craft beer produced in-house. When you go, you'll find a spacious outdoor patio that's great to soak in a sunset while sipping on a tasty brew. As one of Corpus Christi's largest breweries, the family-friendly spot is a must while you are downtown. Enjoy cool, crisp, refreshing beers that beat the South Texas heat! Be sure to try "The Original", a Mexican style lager that's refreshing and has the taste of Corpus Christi!

Railroad Seafood Station Brewing Co

Down the street from the American Bank Center, you’ll find the Railroad Seafood Station Brewing Co. Ask for the Cerveza de la Flor, a pilsner infused with hibiscus and chamomile named in honor of Selena, the Queen of Tejano music. Choose from 10 beers on tap including Honey Wheat Ale and the lightest beer, the Desperado Pilsner. Come hungry – there’s a full menu. Pair the top-selling Texas Red, said to leave a nuttiness on the palate, with grilled fish tacos topped with cabbage, diced tomato, avocado, and special sauce.

Rebel Toad Brewing Co.

Located in downtown’s Marina Arts district, visitors can sample “craft beer with an attitude” and admire the work of up-and-coming local artists each month at the ArtWalk Block Party that takes place on the same street as the 10-barrel brewery. Try the Rebel Blonde Golden Ale, a delicate malt with a hint of passionfruit, the Angry Man Porter and the fan-favorite, Evil Little Soul Belgian Tripel. Grab koozies and stickers, jersey-style shirts for men and women and insulated growlers.

Lazy Beach Brewing

When a creative craft beer selection meets a relaxing vibe and acoustic jams, you’ve landed at Lazy Beach. Come make new friends in the large outdoor area on a lazy afternoon. Top sellers include the Texas Bock, a lighter version of the German version created with the Texas heat in mind. Also, the Choppy Waters, named after the infamous choppy surfs, is a must-try. And a trip to Lazy Beach isn't complete until you've tried their creative hard kombucha flavors -- after all, they were the first brewery in Texas to make it!
