Located along Ocean Drive in the heart of Corpus Christi, Cole Park is a family-friendly park perfect for a few hours of fun. The waterfront park features a large playground, amphitheater, ample green space for recreational play and a trail for walkers, runners and cyclists. If you’re looking for a place to picnic, Cole Park includes grills on-site. Free parking is available on either side of the park.
Cole Park is also home to the Corpus Christi Skatepark, a 10,000 square foot concrete skatepark beside the beach that features a street section and bowl section. If you’re looking for something a little less adventurous, consider stopping by the amphitheater in the summer for the Bay Jammin Concert & Cinema Series.

Corpus Christi’s bayfront/downtown area offers more than 1,200 hotel rooms, some of the city’s finest dining options, a marina and museums. The Marina Arts District in downtown features excellent eateries and the Corpus Christi Municipal Marina. This zone also includes the Sports, Entertainment and Arts District (SEA District) which includes the Museum of South Texas, the Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History, Concrete Street Amphitheater and Hurricane Alley Waterpark. McGee Beach located on the downtown seawall offers a beach that is perfect for children and fishing along the jetties.
